Treasurer’s Report

  • There is a balance of $4,112.58 after holding out all requested costs

Athletic Director Report

  • May have more athletes than the original 30 for sports enhancement so we may need to have more funds available

Old Business

  • Would like to get quotes for concrete to move all three sets of bleachers to the football field and also at the softball field to move one set there during the season. Smaller sections can be used but must have concrete under them
  • Discussed a Strike Zone camp. The camp costs $3000 and would be split with EYS. After discussing the short notice of the camp which was to be held on May 6th and the uncertainty of athletes wanting to attend, we decided to put it on hold until next year and try to get athletes to commit to the camp before paying this amount of money.

New Business

  • Need more brackets for the signs on the baseball field. Kathleen ordered at a cost of $77.95 for 48 brackets
  • Request to give leftover swag shirts to Kathleen to be handed out to new students
  • Mike received a letter that expressed a complaint that there are no game schedules throughout the town. Booster Club has previously agreed to pay for these if the school would do them. We will work with the school to get them done again.
  • Request made for a tackle wheel to aid with tackling drills at a cost of $440.50. Motion by Mary, 2nd by Pat, all ayes to order.
  • $950 worth of equipment has been purchased for the summer athletic sports enhancement program. If additional funds are needed to cover the cost of more than 30 athletes the officers can do this without an extra meeting.
